We have a Facebook fan page, originally set up by one of the students because he thought we ought to have one and we didn't create one at the time because we weren't clear what our students wanted it to be for. When he left, he made me the Admin for the group. I haven't altered it much, except to add a link to our recently updated website.

We have tried to think of all the things users might like to do in the Library or to know about and made three areas on the website for Visitors, Current Members and Alumni. I would like to be able to add some of this functionality to the Facebook page, but I am not sure how to go about it or whether anyone would know that it was there - I suspect once they have become fans, students never go to the page again (and why should they when it's not been changing? But I'm not sure how to get changes noticed).
